Truss Tape Plus installs into Applications. When install finishes, the shop opens in your browser — there is no separate app window. First launch can take about 15 seconds. The Dock icon is the app running. Click it to bring the shop tab back. Quit Truss Tape Plus from the Dock when you are done. Closing the browser tab does not quit the app.

The installer adds 127.0.0.1 local.trusstapeplus.com so the shop opens http://local.trusstapeplus.com:8877/. That name is this Mac, not the public website. Do not edit the hosts file by hand. The app still binds 127.0.0.1 only (this app has no auth).

If writing the hosts file is cancelled or blocked, the app still installs and opens http://127.0.0.1:8877/. Nothing else is affected.

This installer is signed and notarized. macOS may still ask you to confirm the first time.

To remove Truss Tape Plus, double-click Remove Truss Tape Plus (same folder as this installer). That removes the app and that hostname only. It never touches trusstapeplus.com.
